Lak Lobato is a communicator, writer, and speaker. Deaf since she was 9 years old, she graduated in Social Communication.

She has been writing about deafness and the use of hearing technologies (cochlear implant) since 2009, on the site DesculpeNaoOuvi.Com.Br.

Lak has published four books related to the subject of hearing impairment, two of them aimed at children.

She conducted two TEDx talks about the diversity of deafness and its multiple forms of communication.

Currently, she is a partner at “Sobretom Comunicação”, a content agency specializing in hearing health and inclusion.
