BRYAN STEVENSON

He is a lawyer, activist, and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) who has dedicated his career to fighting for racial justice and challenging systemic racism in the criminal justice system. He has written and spoken about the injustices of the criminal justice system and has received many awards, including the MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Grant, the National Medal of Liberty, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. His work with the EJI has helped to bring attention to important issues related to criminal justice reform and racial justice.
